BIMAQ2D (BIM Assurance Quality 2D) is a solution that checks the reliability of a 2D plan against a 3D point cloud. BIMAQ2D takes as input a 2D plan (DGN, DWG, DXF) with a ground elevation (Z scalar), as well as a 3D point cloud (E57, LAS, RCP, etc.), and generates a colored 3D point cloud along with a BCF (BIM Collaboration Format) file to make it easier to locate misalignments between the 3D point cloud and the 2D plan.
